6個「工作用」的英文片語

1. dirty work：吃力不討好的工作、無聊的工作、很難的工作。

We're trying to tell you that we are not going to do your dirty work.　我們想告訴你我們不會再做你那些吃力不討好的事。

2. get down to work：經常是在一陣閒聊之後，收拾好放鬆心情，開始做重要的事情。

Sorry, I've got to get off the phone and get down to work.　對不起，我必須放下電話開始工作了。

3. make short work of：很快完成、很快搞定、很快吃完，任何在短時間完成的事都可以用這個片語。

I made short work of the assignment and moved on to the next job.　我很快的就完成了任務開始下一項工作了。

4. work like a horse：辛勤工作，非常努力的工作

Lena works like a horse!　里娜工作非常努力！

5. work out for the best：意思是最後完成得很好。

Don't worry about your problems. Everything will work out for the best.　別擔心你的問題，所有的事情最後都會好的。

6. throw a monkey wrench in the works：把看上去很清楚明白的事情攪亂。

I hate to throw a monkey wrench in the works, but don't you think we should ask Andy to help.　我討厭把事情攪亂，但是你不認為我們應該找安迪幫忙嗎？
