不是 open、close，開關電器英文怎麼說？

turn on / turn off 開 / 關

Could you please turn on the air conditioner?（可以麻煩你開冷氣嗎？）
Please remember to turn off your phone before you get on the airplane.（登機前請記得關掉手機。）

switch on / switch off 開 / 關

Don’t forget to switch on the fax machine and copier when you arrive at the office.（你到辦公室的時候，別忘了打開傳真機和影印機。）
Switch the TV off. You have to do your homework.（把電視關掉，你該做功課了。）

power up / power off 啟動 / 關掉

這通常是用在機器方面，如：電腦的開關，電燈開關就不會這樣用喔。

After we power up the computer, we can start.（啟動電腦後就可以開始了。）

shut off / shut down 關閉

通常會用在關閉引擎、機器或是電腦上，例如：

He finished the last process and shut down / shut off the engine.（他完成最後一步，然後關掉引擎。）

shut down 也很常用來說公司的停業，例如：

The company suddenly shut down because of bankruptcy.（這家公司因為破產就突然停業了。）
